Job Summary
Max Lots of Atlanta is growing our service operation and looking for a dependable, experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Newnan. We’re looking for someone who can accurately diagnose vehicles, perform quality repairs and help us build a strong service department.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns * Perform maintenance and general automotive repairs * Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling-system and other mechanical repairs * Perform engine-related diagnostic work * Use diagnostic/scanning equipment effectively * Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs * Provide accurate information needed for repair estimates * Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality * Properly document completed repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Communicate with management regarding repair status and additional issues discovered
Qualifications
* Automotive repair experience * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability * Ability to perform repairs independently * Must be dependable and professional * Valid driver’s license * Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles
Preferred Experience
* Experience working across multiple vehicle makes * Electrical diagnostic experience * Advanced engine/drivability diagnostics * ASE certifications are a plus but not required * Dealership or independent repair-shop experience is a plus
Schedule
Full-time. Exact schedule can be discussed during the interview.
Additional Information
Compensation: $16–$38/hour depending on experience, diagnostic ability and overall skill level.
